ISPhS is an international society serving phoneticians from all over the world. While most of our members are phoneticians, many also work in related fields, like linguistics, phonology, physics, the speech sciences. In short, ISPhS serves all areas of the communication sciences. Since its establishment in 1938, the goal of the Society is to foster and develop our discipline in all parts of the world.
